A new Netflix documentary is on the way, and it’s all about American icon Jennifer Lopez! The new film, Halftime, drops on Netflix in just a couple of months.

This lovely lady can do it all. From acting to singing to dancing, and so much more. It seems like there’s nothing she can’t do and she deserves to be celebrated. And thanks to this upcoming documentary, she will be!

Lopez made a breakthrough in the industry with her first leading role in the 1997 biopic, Selena. She became the first Latin actress to earn over $1 million for a film. Since then, she’s continued to stay relevant all of these years. It’s very hard for celebrities to do this and to continue having so many passionate fans after such a long time.

But Lopez has kept herself in the spotlight for decades, and she just continues to up her game. There are so many things this superstar has done. And that’s what her new documentary is going to showcase.

Jennifer Lopez documentary: Halftime

Halftime drops on Netflix globally on June 14. But before that, the film will make its world premiere as the opening night film for the Tribeca Film Festival on June 8.

So what can we expect from the documentary? Well, there’s no one who works harder than this triple threat. The film, directed by Amanda Micheli, will take a look at the grit and determination that makes her who she is – from her performances onscreen and on stages, to her Super Bowl Halftime Show, and even taking part in the Presidential inauguration.

In a press release, Netflix shared:

"The documentary focuses on an international superstar who has inspired people for decades with her perseverance, creative brilliance, and cultural contributions.  And it’s only the beginning.  “HALFTIME” serves as the kickoff to the second half of Lopez’s life, as she lays bare her evolution as a Latina, a mother, and an artist, taking agency in her career and using her voice for a greater purpose."

The 52-year-old star has contributed so much to the entertainment world, and it looks like she’s just getting started. What else can she have down the line? Whatever it is, it’s going to be exciting!
