Is Ari in Elite season 5? (Is Carla Díaz returning?)

The wait is almost over, Elite fans! We have only a day left before Elite season 5 lands on Netflix, and this season promises more drama, mystery, crazy plot twists, and romance. This season, we see the return of the show’s most beloved characters and new cast additions. But the character that many of us are hoping to see is Ari (Carla Díaz).

We’re introduced to Carla Díaz’s character in Elite season 4. After Ari’s wealthy and successful father buys Las Encinas and becomes principal, he moves his family back to Madrid from London. Ari arrives at the school with her twin brother Patrick and her younger rebellious sister, Mencía. Once she steps foot through the doors of Las Encinas, she instantly makes an impression on several students. Those students are Guzmán and Samuel.

Ari gets herself in a complicated love triangle between herself, Guzmán, and Samuel, and viewers watch it play out the entire season. Then, in the season 4 finale, Ari involves herself in Mencía’s troubled situation with Armando, which almost gets her killed.

Even though Ari lives to tell the tale, will she return in Elite season 5? Ari went through a frightening situation, so it would make sense if she chose to transfer to another school. We shared what we know about Ari’s fate in the upcoming season below.

Is Ari in Elite season 5?

Yes, Ari will return in the fifth season. The last time we saw Ari, she was consoling her sister while her sister told their dad about her involvement with Armando. In the scene, Ari looked well other than a black eye and a bruised face. However, that didn’t mean she was necessarily ready to be back at school and in society. So we feared that Ari would either not return for the fifth season or have a lesser role.

Well, we don’t have to worry about any of that because Ari will be in Elite season 5, and she remains a series regular. Her return was confirmed when the official trailer dropped for season 5. She appears several times in the trailer.

The actress who plays Ari, Carla Díaz, also posted a behind-the-scenes photo of her and Itzan Escamilla (Samuel) for season 5 on her Instagram page. In addition, the Elite season 5 poster even includes her.

There’s no telling what Ari and the rest of the Elite season 5 cast will get up to this season. But based on the trailer, viewers are definitely in for a ride!
