Elite season 5 premieres on Netflix on April 8, bringing the highly anticipated, fan-favorite Spanish series back for a scandalous new season. It’s going to be one of the best new series releases of the year, and fans are looking forward to catching up with their favorite characters.

But will Guzmán be one of those characters fans will see in Elite season 5? The teen drama has been known to add new cast members each season as previous cast members, like Ester Expósito and Danna Paola, and their characters leave Las Encinas for good.

From the death of his sister Marina to his relationship with Nadia, Guzmán has been one of the most exciting characters in Elite, especially as fans have watched him grow over the course of the series. Can fans keep watching Guzmán in season 5?

Will Guzmán by in Elite season 5?

Considering where things ended up for Guzmán in Elite season 4, it’s highly unlikely we’ll be seeing him back in season 5. For those who are unaware (look away now if you don’t want to be spoiled!), Guzmán killed Armando and fled the country with his friend, Ander.

Following the release of season 4 last summer, Bernardeau confirmed that he would no longer be a series regular on Elite, sharing a heartfelt message with fans: “I wanted to say thank you to all the Elite team, the production, the direction, to my castmates, those who are still here, those who aren’t, I’ll always have you in my heart and it’s been an immense pleasure working with you.”

While it’s sad we’ll be saying goodbye to a character and actor we have been watching since day one, it will be all the more interesting to see what aftershocks Guzmán’s storyline has for the remaining characters, including Samuel.
