With so many reboots coming out left and right, we’re constantly on the edge of our seats trying to see if some of our favorite shows will be next. It seems like every day, we’re hearing of a classic series receiving a reboot. While some are downright disappointing and fail to capture the original’s magic, others bring about a wave of nostalgia and remind you why you fell in love with the show in the first place. To add to the growing list of reboots, we shared our list of the best shows Netflix needs to reboot.

In celebration of FanSided’s 15th anniversary, we’re taking a trip down memory lane and looking back at all the shows that made an impact on the entertainment industry over the past 15 years.

There are so many oldies but goodies that we’d like to discuss. Below, you’ll find our list of the 15 best shows Netflix needs to reboot. Netflix has ordered reboots in the past, so it’s definitely possible.

Best shows that Netflix needs to reboot

Our list consists of shows that we hold dear to our hearts and feel like now more than ever is the best time for them to be remade. Kicking off the list is the musical comedy-drama series Glee!

Glee

Most people would probably say Glee doesn’t need a reboot, but I beg to differ. The musical series premiered in May 2009 and quickly made a name for itself. It captured the essence of how high school really is and addressed and touched on many complex issues like teen pregnancy, sexuality, race, family, domestic abuse, bullying, etc.

The show covered songs from various genres and put its own spin on each cover. So many songs that Glee covered became popular and topped the Billboard Music Hot 100. There were many great guest star appearances over the seasons, and the cast was truly phenomenal. Similar shows have tried to achieve the same success but to no avail. I could go on and on about why Glee is one of the best shows that Netflix needs to reboot. I just hope Netflix eventually sees the potential.
