Lilyhammer

Despite its impressive status as Netflix’s first exclusive, Lilyhammer tends to be a lesser-known Netflix Original series. This crime dramedy series felt a little like a spiritual successor to The Sopranos, following the gangster Frank “The Fixer” Tagliano as he attempted to start a new life in Norway.

Lilyhammer aired for three seasons from 2012 to 2014 before it was canceled. Even though the show is billed as a Netflix Original, Netflix shared it with the Norwegian broadcasting channel NRK1. Netflix pulled out after three seasons, which led to its cancellation.
