When Mike Epps initially came on the comedy scene back in 1995 during his stint for Def Comedy Jam, it’s safe to say no one could have predicted how much of a beloved comedian he would be in this very day and age.
The adoration many have for this celebrity certainly doesn’t come as a surprise to anyone as his jokes never fail to make audiences bust out in laughter. What’s more, his many acting roles in shows and movies such as Survivor’s Remorse and Roll Bounce only further cement how talented Epps really is.

The family-friendly movie Open Season 2 is the perfect place to start your Mike Epps binge. In the 2008 animated film, he voices the role of Boog, a courageous bear who is determined to save his friend, Mr. Weenie.
In addition to this film, Epps stars in the movies How High 2, The Trap, Love Jacked, Dolemite is My Name, and the 2006 film Term Life alongside Hailee Steinfeld, Vince Vaughn, and Taraji P. Henson.

In the hit Netflix original series, he plays the role of Bennie Upshaw, the Upshaw family’s patriarch. Epps’ portrayal of this silly yet kind-hearted fellow is sure to make you laugh.
