Ophelia (2018)

Ophelia is a romantic drama film directed by Claire McCarthy from a script written by Semi Chellas. It is based on the book of the same name by Lisa Klein. The main character in the movie, Ophelia, comes from William Shakespeare’s play HamletOphelia is a re-telling of Hamlet from Ophelia’s perspective. It tells the love story of Ophelia and the young Prince Hamlet. Daisy Ridley, Clive Owen, George MacKay, and Tom Felton star alongside Watts in the film.

The Book of Henry (2017)

The Book of Henry is a drama film directed by Colin Trevorrow from a screenplay written by Gregg Hurwitz. It’s about a young boy dying from cancer who comes up with a detailed plan to rescue his new neighbor from her abusive stepfather. Naomi Watts, Jaeden Lieberher, Jacob Tremblay, Sarah Silverman, Lee Pace, Maddie Ziegler, Tonya Pinkins, and Dean Norris star in the film.

St. Vincent (2014)

It’s a heartfelt story about a young, lonely boy who befriends his bad-tempered war veteran next-door neighbor. This Is the Night (2021)

This Is the Night is a drama movie written and directed by James DeMonaco. DeMonaco is best known for creating the Purge film franchise. Frank Grillo, Lucius Hoyos, Bobby Cannavale, Jonah Hauer-King, Naomi Watts, Method Man, Raquel Castro, Madelyn Cline, Lenny Venito, and many others star in the movie. The Watcher (2022)

The Watcher is set to arrive on Netflix later this year! It’s a horror mystery series created by Glee‘s Ryan Murphy and Ian Brennan. The series is based on a true story and adapted from a 2018 article written by Reeves Wiedeman for The Cut magazine.

It’s about a family who, after purchasing their dream home, begins receiving creepy letters from a mysterious stalker called The Watcher. The family eventually sells their home and leaves town to rid themselves of the nightmare. Naomi Watts and Bobby Cannavale star alongside each other again. The rest of the cast is made up of Jennifer Coolidge, Noma Dumezweni, Yuko Torihara, Mia Farrow, Margo Martindale, Luke David Blumm, and others.
