What new, free, mobile Netflix games are releasing in March?

Did you know that Netflix has free mobile games available? All you need to access them is a Netflix subscription! The best part is that Netflix games are ad-free, and there are no microtransactions involved, meaning you can play (or let your kids play) without worrying about hidden fees or in-app purchases.

There are already several games available, but more are on the way this month, including This Is A True Story, Shatter Remastered and a first-person shooter game called Into the Dead 2: Unleashed. Download games from the Netflix mobile app on the day of release at 2 p.m. PT or directly from the Apple/Google app store at 10 a.m. PT if you don’t want to wait.

This Is A True Story, March 22

This Is A True Story is already out right now on the Netflix app. This Frosty Pop creation is a narrative puzzle game based on actual experiences and interviews reflecting the daily struggle for water that affects more than 771 million people across the globe. Frosty Pop collaborated with Charity: Water, a nonprofit organization dedicated to bringing clean and safe drinking water to people in developing countries.

Players can experience a stunning, hand-painted landscape while trying to survive against the elements, catching poachers and stumbling upon fascinating adventures. You’ll even get the chance to befriend a goat!

Shatter Remastered, March 22

The retro throwback game Shatter Remastered is a brick-breaking outing combining classic action with unique twists and some truly incredible boss battles. As you might expect from the title, Shatter Remastered is an updated version of the 2009 award-winning Shatter from Sidhe, originally released on Playstation 3.

The new game comes from PikPok and features dozens of different levels, awesome special attacks, power-ups and more. Optimized for a mobile experience, you’ll find the game has a user-friendly interface. Go head-to-head with your friends and people worldwide as the game tracks your high scores on the global leaderboards.

Into the Dead 2: Unleashed, Coming Soon

One of the most exciting Netflix games coming soon is Into the Dead 2: Unleashed. This first-person shooter game invites you to save your family and survive the zombie apocalypse in the ultimate shooter/runner hybrid. A sequel to the hit zombie action game Into the Dead, players must arm themselves and fend off zombie threats while facing numerous obstacles and crossing treacherous terrain.
