Bridgerton has quickly taken the world by storm as one of Netflix’s most-watched original series. Season 2 arrives on March 25 and Netflix has already given the green light to two additional seasons as well as a prequel series.
Needless to say, Netflix has some big plans in place for the franchise with the hope being to adapt Julia Quinn’s eight Bridgerton books so that each member of the Bridgerton family gets their time to shine.
Across the eight Bridgerton books, readers get the chance to see each of the Bridgerton siblings find their happy endings. Who does Anthony Bridgerton marry in the books?
Although Anthony is the eldest Bridgerton, his love story doesn’t unfold until the second book in the Bridgerton series, The Viscount Who Loved Me. In the book, Anthony decides to finally give up the bachelor’s life by finding a wife. While he initially sets out to wed Kate Sheffield’s sister — Kate’s last name has been changed to Sharma for the show — Kate and Anthony eventually fall in love and get married.
Who does Benedict Bridgerton marry in the books?
In the third of the Bridgerton books, An Offer From a Gentleman, Benedict Bridgerton marries Sophie Beckett in a romance that is quite the Cinderella story.
In the book, Sophie is the daughter of an earl who is relegated to the role of servant by her stepmother. One night, she manages to sneak into Lady Bridgerton’s masquerade ball where she meets her “Prince Charming” in Benedict. Just like Cinderella, Sophie must race off before she’s discovered leaving an enchanted Benedict determined to find the woman who captured his heart at the ball.

Who does Daphne Bridgerton marry in the books?
In The Duke and I, the first book in the Bridgerton series, Daphne ends up with Simon Basset, the Duke of Hastings. This isn’t likely to come as a surprise for fans who watched Bridgerton season 1 as the two characters end up together in the show similar to how they end up together in the book the season is based on.

Who does Eloise Bridgerton marry in the books?
Much like the character fans know in the show, Eloise’s book counterpart is equally uninterested in marriage; however, in To Sir Phillip, With Love, the fifth book in the Bridgerton series, Eloise finally weds. Following the death of her cousin, Eloise writes to Sir Phillip Crane to send her condolences and the two begin corresponding and become penpals.
Eventually, Sir Phillip invites Eloise to meet with him in person and surprises her with a marriage proposal. The two eventually wed at the behest of her three brothers, but as the book synopsis teases “when he kissed her the rest of the world simply fell away, and she couldn’t help but wonder… could this imperfect man be perfect for her?”
Who does Francesca Bridgerton marry in the books?
Although Francesca Bridgerton is on the younger end when we first meet her in the Bridgerton series, in the sixth of the Bridgerton books she finally takes center stage and finds love. In When He Was Wicked, Francesca marries John Sterling, the Earl of Kilmartin.
Sadly, John dies unexpectedly which begins a new chapter in Francesca’s life when John’s cousin Michael Sterling enters the picture and is immediately enthralled by Francesca. After a few years of courting, Francesca and Michael married.
Who does Gregory Bridgerton marry in the books?
The youngest of the Bridgerton men, Gregory’s love story comes into play during the eighth book in the Bridgerton franchise, On the Way to the Wedding. In the book, Gregory falls for a young lady by the name of Hermione Watson, who unfortunately is interested in another suitor.
Hoping to win Hermione’s affections, Gregory enlists the help of Hermione’s friend Lady Lucinda “Lucy” Abernathy, who is happy to help play matchmaker. As Gregory and Lucy begin to work closely together to come up with a plan to help Gregory win Hermione over, the two end up falling for one another and eventually wed.
Who does Hyacinth Bridgerton marry in the books?
Hyacinth Bridgerton might be the youngest sibling, but she actually takes center stage in the seventh book in the Bridgerton franchise, It’s in His Kiss. In the book, we meet an older version of Hyacinth than the one we’ve met in Bridgerton who is ready to be presented to the ton and find a suitor.
She finds her match in Gareth St. Clair, the grandson of Lady Danbury, who turns to Hyacinth for help uncovering the secrets of his past and the promise of his future which lies within a diary written in Italian. As the pair work to crack the diary, they fall in love along the way and eventually get married.
