Selling Sunset is one of Netflix’s top reality series, and fans can’t get enough of the show. It’s also one of the streamer’s longest-running reality shows. I mean, it was nominated for an Emmy Award, so I’d say it’s pretty good.

Season 4 premiered on Netflix in November 2021, and fans only had to wait five months for a new season. This isn’t the case for most Netflix shows. There’s usually a year gap between the release of new seasons. But Selling Sunset doesn’t seem to have a set release pattern. New seasons have been released at different times. Fans are just happy that they get to see Selling Sunset season 5 sooner rather than later.

Since production for season 5 wrapped in December 2021, we knew that there was a good chance that the fifth season could come in early 2022. Post-production doesn’t usually take long for a show like Selling Sunset, so an early 2022 release seemed probable. Now, we’ve received word that Selling Sunset season 5 is actually coming this April. Here’s the official release date below!

Selling Sunset season 5 release date

Netflix announced on its official Twitter account that the original series would be returning with its fifth season on Friday, April 22, 2022. You can expect the fifth season to be released at 12:00 a.m. PT/3:00 a.m. ET. If you live in the Midwest, you’re looking at a 2:00 a.m. CT release.

So make sure to mark your calendars, clear your schedules, and set your alarm clocks because you don’t want to miss this new release!

There isn’t an official trailer yet, but if you take a look at the last couple of minutes of the season 4 finale, there’s a sneak peek of what’s to come in the upcoming fifth season.
