One Piece fans! Get ready to rejoice because one of your favorite films from this iconic anime series is finally coming to Netflix very soon! In a couple of weeks, One Piece Film: Z is slated to be a part of the streaming platform’s line up which means after you finish watching One Piece Film: Strong World and One Piece: Episode of Alabasta, you’ll have yet another great movie to keep you company this week.

Exciting things are on the way, and you’re not going to want to miss a single second! Read on to not only find out when One Piece Film: Z is coming to your Netflix screens but to learn all about what you can expect from this upcoming release.

One Piece Film: Z Netflix release date

Save the date because One Piece Film: Z is officially releasing on Netflix on Friday, Apr. 15 at 3:01 a.m. ET/12:01 a.m. PT.

One Piece Film: Z synopsis

This One Piece movie will depict our Straw Hat Pirates’ epic fight against Z, a dangerous man whose goal is to use the Dyna Stone, a weapon of mass destruction, to eradicate peace all across the New World. It’s up to Monkey D. Luffy and his boisterous bunch of treasure-seeking, crime-fighting friends to put a stop to Z’s evil plans, but with time running out, they’ll have to act fast.

Will Luffy and his pals be able to pull it off, or will evil prevail in the end? You’ll have to catch the title to find out. Until then, see a sneak peek at what’s to come in the official trailer for the 2012 film here.

The film has a runtime of approximately 1 hour and 47 minutes. Currently, the film does not have an age rating. However, based on the previous films’ age rating, we can assume this movie is rated PG as well.

Lastly, upon its release on Netflix, anime fans should be able to watch the film in Japanese-subbing or English-dubbing. We’ll keep you posted once or if other languages will be made available.
