Windfall cast: Who’s in the Netflix movie?

You think you know Emily in Paris star Lily Collins, but you have no idea! The Golden Globe-nominated actress headlines one of the best guilty pleasure shows on Netflix, and now she’s back on the streaming service in the brand-new thriller movie Windfall.

From writer-director Charlie McDowell, Windfall is described as a Hitchockian thriller that follows a rich married couple as they walk into their vacation home to discover that it’s in the midst of a robbery. The film runs for just 91 minutes and features a simplistic approach to storytelling.

The new movie arrives alongside other new Netflix movies like Black Crab and The Weekend Away, the latter of which has proven a huge success following its March 3 release date. Windfall looks to be the next Netflix thriller that grabs a bunch of buzz and huge opening weekend.

Because Windfall is a stripped-down thriller, there isn’t a huge ensemble cast or even a lengthy list of supporting characters. But the movie does have a very strong cast of familiar faces that you have definitely seen on your screens before.

Obviously, Lily Collins is one of the leading cast members, and you have seen her in titles like Emily in Paris, Mirror Mirror, To the Bone, The Mortal Instruments, and many more. Collins collaborated with her husband, Charlie McDowell, for their first project together.

Jason Segel stars in the movie as Nobody, otherwise known as the robber. Segel has starred in a number of successful movies and shows such as Freaks and Geeks, How I Met Your Mother, Forgetting Sarah Marshall, I Love You Man, The Muppets, and others.

Academy Award nominee Jesse Plemons also stars in Windfall as the husband of Collins’ character. Plemons got his start on Friday Night Lights and went on to star in Fargo, I’m Thinking of Ending Things, Jungle Cruise, and Netflix’s The Power of the Dog, for which he earned his Oscar nomination.

The Windfall cast also features Omar Levya as the gardener, but his role isn’t as integral to the plot of the thriller as Collins, Segel, and Plemons.
