Spring is coming and along with the change of seasons comes tons of Netflix new releases! From Bridgerton season 2 to Anatomy of a Scandal and Along For the Ride to The Bubble, the Netflix spring lineup is shaping up nicely, and we can’t wait to see all that is released. There are so many new Netflix shows and movies coming soon!

Netflix has made it their goal for there to be no shortage of new shows and movies coming to its platform this year. The streamer is known for dropping some of its biggest releases during the summer, but it looks like Netflix isn’t waiting that long this year.

The spring 2022 slate is looking to rival the summer 2022 slate, and we’re not complaining. So many anticipated Netflix shows and movies release dates have been announced, and surprisingly many of them are scheduled to come out this spring.

After looking over the list of Netflix shows coming this spring, we’ve compiled our own list of shows that you should add to your watch list right now. Our list has a little bit of everything so that everyone has something to watch this spring. Kicking off the list is the highly anticipated period drama Bridgerton season 2.

Bridgerton season 2

On March 25, fans will finally get to see the second installment of Bridgerton. This season, the story centers around the eldest child of the Bridgerton family, Anthony Bridgerton (Jonathan Bailey), and his quest for love. During his social season, Anthony will find himself in a love triangle with one of the parties being Kate Sharma (Simone Ashley).

Bridgerton season 2 is based on the second book titled The Viscount Who Loved Me in Julia Quinn’s Bridgerton book series. The first season was a smash hit, so we expect the second season to achieve just as much success. If you haven’t already added Bridgerton season 2 to your watchlist, now is the time to do so. You definitely don’t want to miss this release.

Stranger Things season 4

After such a long wait, the official release date for Stranger Things season 4 has been announced! It’s been reported that the fourth season will be split up into two parts. The first part is slated to be released on Netflix on Friday, May 27, 2022. The second part will make its arrival on July 1. The fourth season consists of nine episodes total. It’s unclear how many episodes will be in each volume, but it’ll probably be four episodes in volume 1 and five episodes in volume 2, or vice versa.

Stranger Things is one of the best original series on Netflix, so we’re expecting an explosive fourth season. It has also been said that Stranger Things season 4 is “bigger than ever,” so it looks like fans will be thoroughly entertained this season. Make sure to add this show to your watch list ASAP.

Anatomy of a Scandal

Anatomy of a Scandal is coming to Netflix on Friday, April 15, 2022. It is an anthology drama series created by David E. Kelley and Melissa James Gibson. The series is based on the best-selling book titled the same name by Sarah Vaughan.

The first season is about a high-ranking British politician named James Whitehouse whose marriage unravels after he’s accused of rape. His wife Sophia is sure her husband would never commit such a crime, while prosecutor Kate is convinced he’s guilty.

The well-cast ensemble includes Sienna Miller, Michelle Dockery, Rupert Friend, and Naomi Scott. The first season will consist of six episodes that are about an hour-long each. Now that you know everything about Anatomy of a Scandal, all there’s left to do is to add the show to your watchlist and gear up for its release on Netflix.

Russian Doll season 2

Get ready because Russian Doll season 2 will make its landing on Netflix on April 20! The Emmy-winning series is finally returning with its second season after it being over three years since the first season premiered. Natasha Lyonne will be reprising her role as Nadia, but this season is set four years after the events that happened in season 1.

According to Netflix, Russian Doll season 2 will focus on Nadia and Alan as they “delve deeper into their pasts through an unexpected time portal located in one of Manhattan’s most notorious locations.” Greta Lee, Yul Vazquez, Charlie Barnett, and Elizabeth Ashley are also expected to make appearances this season. In addition, Annie Murphy has been added to the season 2 cast.

Ozark season 4 part 2

The fourth and final season of Ozark will be coming to an end on April 29. Ozark season 4 was split up into two parts, with the first part released on Netflix back in January. Both parts consist of seven episodes.

With the shocking events that occurred in part 1, tensions are higher and fans can expect even more drama in part 2. The first part left many questions to be answered in Ozark season 4 part 2. Viewers can expect all their questions to be answered and an epic series conclusion.
