Save the date because Apollo 10 1/2: A Space Age Childhood is coming your way, Friday, Apr. 1, 2022, at 12:01 a.m. ET/3:01 a.m. PT only on Netflix.

In addition to this soon-coming premiere date, audiences should know the film has an estimated run time of 97 minutes and has been given an age rating of PG-13, making it the perfect watch for the family.

Apollo 10 1/2: A Space Age Childhood synopsis

The film journeys the life of two separate individuals: an astronaut and a young boy from Houston, Texas. Though these individuals seem to have nothing in common, they share the same curiosity about what lies above the heavens.

"Apollo 10 ½: A Space Age Childhood tells the story of the first moon landing in the summer of 1969 from two interwoven perspectives – the astronaut and mission control view of the triumphant moment, and through the eyes of a kid growing up in Houston, Texas who has intergalactic dreams of his own."

"Our unique animation style allows both the conjuring of a world long gone, and the flowing, playful expression of memory and imagination. It’s been a fun, creative journey to incorporate things like 3D graphics into a live action shoot to help bring this story to life."
