The story follows several characters who have deformities or are disfigured, trying to make it in a society that outcasts the people who are different. The characters force themselves to hide and stay under the radar in fear of others’ judgment about the way they look. While at the same time fighting to find their place in society.

The film asks viewers to rethink and modify their perceptions of what beauty means. It sheds light on an important topic that isn’t talked about enough, in my opinion. It’s not for everyone, but I still recommend giving it a watch because of the meaning behind the film.

The material shown and/or used in the movie is severe sex and nudity, mild violence and gore, mild alcohol, drugs, and smoking, and severe inappropriate language.
