If you blew through all eight episodes in a single weekend, you might be looking for similar shows like Pieces of Her to watch. You’ll probably want something with a central mystery, plot twists and compelling actors. Luckily for you, there are several shows currently streaming on Netflix that fit the bill!

Behind Her Eyes

Behind Her Eyes is another psychological thriller series based on a book. This series is based on the novel of the same name by Sarah Pinborough and it’s very suspenseful with some genuinely jaw-dropping twists and turns.

Starring Simona Brown, Tom Batemen, Eve Hewson and Robert Aramayo, Behind Her Eyes is about single mother Louise whose world is fundamentally altered in surprising ways after she starts an affair with her boss, David. But at the same time, Louise finds herself attracted to his wife, Adele and starts a friendship with her. A dangerous love triangle forms and the story unravels in ways you would never expect.

Unbelievable

If you’re a Toni Collette fan (which I assume you are if you want more shows like Pieces of Her) then Unbelievable is an excellent follow-up series. It’s a little different tonally, but Unbelievable is a true crime miniseries based on the 2015 news article “An Unbelievable Story of Rape” written by T. Christian Miller and Ken Armstrong, in addition to their book A False Report.

The series was critically acclaimed and received several accolades, including multiple Primetime Emmy Award nominations. Be aware that the subject matter of Unbelievable is very intense and might be hard for some viewers to watch.

Clickbait

If you enjoyed Pieces of Her but weren’t crazy about the show’s slow pacing, you might want to give Clickbait a try. Clickbait stars Adrian Grenier as Nick Brewer, a man who suddenly goes missing and then turns up in a viral video that says when the live stream reaches five million views, Nick will be killed. Of course, as more people learn about the chilling video, the views start to skyrocket. Nick’s family must rush to save him before it’s too late.

Stay Close

Stay Close is the latest Netflix release based on one of Harlan Coben’s books. If you’re a fan of his or you’ve watched some of the other Netflix adaptations then Stay Close could be the perfect follow-up after Pieces of Her. Actually, any of Coben’s Netflix shows would work. Apart from Stay Close there’s also The Stranger, The Woods, The Innocent and Gone for Good. But Stay Close is a particularly good choice because the set-up is somewhat similar to Pieces of Her. It centers on a suburban mom whose dark past comes back to haunt her.

The Sinner

In terms of tone, The Sinner is probably your top choice for shows like Pieces of Her. All four seasons are definitely a slow burn. Currently, only the first three seasons are streaming on Netflix but the fourth and final season is expected to arrive later this year. Based on the book of the same name by  Petra Hammesfahr, most seasons of The Sinner even start similarly to Pieces of Her—with a startling act of violence.

Although, unlike the Karin Slaughter show, the violence in The Sinner is usually never as “random” as it first appears. The first season stars Jessica Biel as a young mother who suddenly snaps and brutally stabs a man at the beach seemingly for no reason. Additional seasons star actors like Matt Bomer, Carrie Coon and Chris Messina. The primary link between seasons is Detective Harry Ambrose, played by Bill Pullman.
