The Weekend Away cast: Who’s in the Netflix movie?

The Weekend Away makes its premiere Thursday, March 3 on Netflix. The thriller stars Leighton Meester in the lead role as Beth, whose vacation takes a dark turn when her best friend Kate (Christina Wolfe) is found dead. Suddenly, what was a dream get-away in Croatia becomes a nightmare.

However, it’s not only the murder that looms over Beth. It’s also the investigation. She’s seriously being considered as a suspect due to the clear friction in her and Kate’s relationship. Stuck and unable to return to her family and child, Beth is in a race against time and the authorities to find out what really happened to Kate.

But the secrets she’ll uncover will change her life forever. You don’t always know the people you keep company with not even those who are supposed to be the closest to you.
