A new comedy film titled The Bubble is coming to Netflix soon, and we’ve shared everything we know about the movie below!

The Bubble is helmed and created by Emmy award-winning director Judd Apatow with a screenplay co-written by Apatow and Pam Brady. This is Apatow’s first feature film at Netflix, and it’s co-produced by Barry Mendel under Apatow’s production company.

We first learned about the Netflix movie in November 2020, but only the plot and creator were announced at the time. So much more information has come out about the film since then, and fans are anticipating the release.

According to IMDb, the comedy film will make its landing on Netflix on Friday, April 1, 2022. As always, you can expect the movie to drop at 12:00 a.m. Pacific Time, which is 3:00 a.m. Eastern Time. If you’re living in the Midwest, you can expect the film to be dropped on your Netflix account at 2:00 a.m. Central Time on the release date.

The Bubble synopsis

The film has an interesting and unique premise which I think will instantly attract viewers. It follows a bunch of actors and actresses as they try to complete a movie called Cliff Beasts 6 while stuck inside a hotel during a pandemic.

As promised, on March 4, Netflix released the official trailer for the Judd Apatow comedy. After teasing the Cliff Beasts film franchise for days, the streamer gave fans a real look at the actual movie we will be watching on April Fools’ Day.

The trailer shows the excellent cast in action as they work to film a big-budget movie during the height of the pandemic. Only time will tell if the comedy can successfully add humor to this subject. Also, the trailer teases Kate McKinnon’s role in the movie.
