Is Cliff Beasts 6: Battle for Everest a real movie?

There are so many good Netflix movies coming in 2022, including The Adam Project and so many blockbusters waiting to happen. But one more movie has been added to the long list of upcoming titles, and it’s Cliff Beasts 6: Battle for Everest.

Netflix announced the upcoming dinosaur movie on March 2 with a teaser trailer that came out of the blue. No one had heard anything about Cliff Beasts 6, much less the first five Cliff Beasts movies that seemingly preceded the forthcoming sequel.

The teaser and poster offered a first look at Karen Gillan, Keegan-Michael Key, Pedro Pascal, Leslie Mann, and Iris Apatow in the adventure movie. Netflix teased and official trailer would be coming two days later for the movie poised for release on April 1, 2022.

But that date and the previous lack of information about Cliff Beasts 6 had Netflix fans wondering if the movie was a best-kept secret, an April Fools’ Day joke, or a larger piece of the puzzle for the upcoming Judd Apatow movie The Bubble. Here’s what we know so far.

Is Cliff Beasts 6 a real movie on Netflix?

According to What’s on Netflix, Cliff Beasts 6: Battle for Everest will be the movie-within-a-movie in The Bubble. Apatow’s upcoming Netflix comedy film centers on a group of actors in a quarantine bubble attempting to finish filming a movie during the pandemic.

Being so, it seems the latest sequel of their hit dinosaur movie franchise is the flick they are filming while staying together at the same hotel. Check out the teaser and movie poster Netflix released in the tweet below.

We have to admit, it’s a great cast and we would definitely watch Cliff Beasts 6. But we’re also super excited to see this cast in The Bubble.
