Is The Outfit on Netflix?

When you first saw promos and even the trailer for The Outfit, you might have thought it was just about clothes. Maybe a more refined version of A Devil Wears Prada? Or perhaps another Phantom Thread? It could not be more different.

It all begins one fateful night when a tailor and his assistant are working in the shop. It seems like just another night until a group of mobsters walk through the door and threaten the tailor. What was supposed to be another night turns into a fight for survival.

The Outfit stars Mark Rylance, Zoey Deutch, Dylan O’Brien, Johnny Flynn, Nikki Amuka-Bird, Simon Russell Beale, and Alan Mehdizadeh.

Rylance plays Leonard, the master English tailor who finds himself in Chicago. It’s a mobster movie, so of course, it’s Chicago. But tailored clothes are not cheap and the only people who can afford them are gangsters. If your customers are gangsters, something bad is bound to happen. And so it does.

Two killers come to the tailor shop door when Leonard and his assistant Mable are working and so begins a night of lies, secrets, and murder. But Leonard and Mable may not be what they appear Maybe the mobsters should be afraid?

Is The Outfit on Netflix?

Unfortunately, The Outfit is not currently on Netflix. It will be available in theaters Friday, March 18, 2022 after being pushed back from its original release date of Feb. 25. Even when the movie leaves theaters, it will likely not be headed to Netflix.

Since the film was made by Focus Features and Focus Features is owned by Comcast and Universal Pictures, it will likely head to Peacock. It could be streaming there as soon as 45 days after it debuts.

Where to watch The Outfit

While the movie will only be available in theaters when it debuts, there will be other places to watch it once it’s been in theaters for a while.

It will certainly head to Peacock first, but after that, it will likely be available to rent or buy on Amazon Prime, Vudu, and Google Play.
