The Ozark season 4 premiere on Netflix is finally right around the corner! Debuting in 2017, the dark drama has captivated its fan base with riveting storylines.

Every season, the stakes are raised as the Byrde family seeks to save themselves from the Navarro Cartel. Unfortunately, each time one obstacle is resolved, a new one appears.

After the explosive ending to Ozark season 3, fans of the show have been patiently awaiting the arrival of the next installment. Ozark season 4 officially begins this Friday, but as you might know, it’ll be broken up into two parts. So let’s get into everything you need to know about the final season.

Ozark season 4 part 1 release date

Ozark season 4 part 1 premieres on Netflix on Jan. 21, 2022.

Netflix has confirmed that Ozark will not receive a season 5. Instead, they are releasing Ozark season 4 in two parts. Showrunner Chris Mundy explained to The Wrap that the decision was made because five seasons felt too long, and they didn’t want to overstay their welcome.

Ozark season 4 part 2 release date

On Feb. 23, Netflix officially announced the release date for Ozark season 4 part 2 with a tweet and a new 50-second teaser. The final seven episodes of the series will start streaming on Netflix on Friday, April 29.

Following the release of the first half of the final season, fans had wondered how long they would be waiting for the series finale. We’d originally imagine part 2 would arrive in fall 2022. Thankfully, Netflix didn’t make us wait that long for the big finish.

At this time, Netflix has not released an official synopsis for Ozark season 4 part 2. Although, fans can expect higher than ever stakes as the Byrdes close out their final chapter. We can take an educated guess at what’ll happen in the second part once the first is released this Friday.

Alongside the announcement of the season 4 part 2 release date, Netflix also dropped a new teaser for the upcoming final episodes. The clip features cryptic narration from Ruth with harrowing teases and what’s to come in the aftermath.

On March 29, one month ahead of the release of Ozark season 4 part 2, Netflix dropped the official trailer for the final episodes. Each season of Ozark has 10 episodes, except for season 4, which will consist of 14 episodes, released in two parts, as mentioned. Each part will consist of seven episodes.
