We know You season 4 is happening, but now when it will be released. It looks like the season is eyeing filming to start very soon. What could this mean for a release date?

It’s been four months since we binged our way through You season 3. There’s no doubt we’re ready for more, and we did get to go into the season knowing that we would get more. Writing started on the season back in November 2021, but things have been quiet since then.

According to What’s On Netflix, filming could start very soon. It’s looking like the middle of March 2022, with an end date of July 2022 in sight. Four months of filming is about right for an eight-episode series.

Of course, things with the pandemic could change things. There could also be other filming delays. And nothing is confirmed by showrunner Sera Gamble right now.

When could You season 4 come to Netflix?

With a March 2022 filming start date in mind, what could this mean for a release date? Is it still possible that we’ll get to see the season arrive in 2022?

A 2022 release date is going to be tight. We’re looking at around five or six months of post-production. It is just possible that we could see You season 4 arrive in December 2022, but this is going to be tight.

It’s more likely that we’ll see it arrive in 2023. Wouldn’t a Valentine’s Day release in 2023 be perfect for a series like this? Talk about an anti-Valentine’s Day series!

Filming right now is set to take place in the UK. That’s interesting considering Joe moved to Paris at the end of the third season. Does it mean he’ll find his way across the English Channel?

We’ll keep an eye on everything You season 4 and are certainly looking forward to seeing what March has in store.
