Love is Blind season 2’s Abushek ‘Shake’ Chatterjee age, Instagram, job, and more

After its record-breaking debut in 2020, one of the best blind dating reality shows is back! Love is Blind season 2 was released on Netflix on Friday, Feb. 11.

Contestants of this reality show have to rely on getting to know each other before making the ultimate decision to get married, so they have to use their words to woo their potential spouses. Luckily it seems that season 2’s Abushek “Shake” Chatterjee has lots to talk about. Get to know the new contestant below!

How old is Shake Chatterjee?

As the show is filmed ahead of time, Shake Chatterjee appeared on the show when he was 32 years old, but as of 2022, the Love is Blind season 2 contestant is 33 years old. According to Daily News Catcher, the 33-year-old was born in 1988 in Naperville, Illinois, United States.

When he’s not trying to find marriage on a reality show, Shake Chatterjee spends his time taking care of poorly pets. By day, the 33-year-old Netflix star is a veterinarian, but by night, he trades in his scrubs and stethoscope for a turntable and heavy beats.

According to his LinkedIn profile, Shake has been working as a vet in the Chicago area for the last near-decade. We’re not 100% sure how long he’s been a DJing for, but the Love is Blind star definitely has a few years of music playing under his belt as his earliest Instagram post of himself spinning decks dates back to 2017.

The first five episodes of Netflix’s Love is Blind season 2 are now available to stream, the next four episodes will be available to watch from Feb. 18, and the finale episodes air the following week on Feb. 25.
