When do new episodes of Love is Blind: Japan come out on Netflix?
By Sabrina Reed
Love is Blind season 2 is on everyone’s minds as fans of the first season gear up for the second installment of the Netflix original dating series to land on the streamer Friday, Feb. 11. Ahead of the release, however, another entry in the franchise has made its debut, Love is Blind: Japan.
Premiering on Tuesday, Feb. 8, this international title for the franchise is the second to be produced outside of the U.S. The first, Love is Blind: Brazil, arrived last year. The Japanese version of the series follows the same rules as the original show.
Men and women participate in a social experiment that tests whether or not love is blind. Put through days of round robin dates, these love-seeking hopefuls get to know each other sight unseen and determine who their potential soulmate could be.
Once they pair up and get engaged, they’re finally allowed to “meet” one another and from there the real test begins. Can their connection developed in the pods that kept them physically apart survive in the real world as they interact with each other in the same living space and figure out the dynamic between the two of them along with their friends and family?
It all culminates in a heart-pounding wait to see who will marry one another and who will decide to part ways at the altar.
