The Woman In the House

Netflix recently released the new series The Woman In the House starring Kristen Bell. Created by the trio of Rachel Ramras, Hugh Davidson, and Larry Dorf, this series follows a woman, Anna, who has lost in love and sits in her window each night, sipping her wine, while the world passes her by.

The Woman In the House is a comedic take on the mystery genre where one night, Anna believes she has witnessed a murder. She drinks large amounts of wine with an occasional pill thrown in, which causes her to hallucinate, and she starts to second guess what she thinks she’s seen.

The series also stars Tom Riley, Mary Holland, Shelley Hennig, Christina Anthony, Samsara Leela and Cameron Britton.

All of Us Are Dead

A new apocalyptic series has recently been released, and this one looks fantastic. All of Us Are Dead is a South Korean series where the virus outbreak begins in a high school.

The series sees students against one another, some are alive, and some have reanimated into a different breed of zombie. The zombies are quicker, gorier, and freakier than most, and the students seem to have an idea of how to defend themselves.

This looks like a great zombie apocalypse series that fans of the genre won’t want to miss.

Getting Curious with Jonathan Van Ness

The first season of Getting Curious with Jonathan Van Ness has been released on the streamer. This series is an extension of Ness’ long-running podcast of the same name.

The series first season consists of six episodes that range from lighter topics such as whether or not bugs are beautiful the history of hair to more complex subjects like the origins and impacts of the gender binary. In the true fashion of JVN, this series will educate as well as entertain.
