When a television show is canceled, that’s traditionally the end of the road. But not these days. Fans are passionate, and no fandom was as passionate in 2021, or will be as passionate in 2022, as Manifesters. Thanks in part to their incredible support, Manifest season 4 is on the way.

We’ve seen fan support in the past when their favorite show meets an untimely fate. Whether they make noise up and down social media to help save the series or send thousands of marshmallows to The CW offices in the case of Veronica Mars, fan demand has always been there.

But there was something different about Manifest’s cancellation and the story of how it wound up saved by Netflix. In many ways, history repeated itself following a similar situation with fellow network cast-off Lucifer, which was also given a new life by Netflix, yet this case was unique.

Ahead of NBC canceling Manifest after three seasons, the first two started streaming on Netflix and Manifesters made sure the streaming service knew they were present and not going anywhere. Months and months of streaming, tweeting, and supporting ultimately resulted in Manifest season 4.

Manifesters will show up on Netflix for Manifest season 4

Some people will tell you that it wasn’t just the Manifesters trending #SaveManifest on Twitter that pushed Netflix to save the beloved series, but that word-of-mouth campaign clearly made its way to locals, who checked out the show in droves and kept it in the top 10 for weeks.

No matter what anyone says, none of this would have been possible without Manifesters believing that it could happen. Even when Netflix initially passed, they didn’t give up. That faith that Ben Stone talks about in the show carried over to the community of fans who wouldn’t give up on the show, the story, and the characters that they love.

Thankfully, their efforts weren’t in vain. Manifest season 4, the 20-episode final season, will premiere on Netflix later on in 2022. Trust that the Manifesters are just getting started and will back season 4 with all the fervor and power they put into saving the show.

But this time, they won’t be alone. Millions of new fans have boarded Flight 828. We’ve already bet big on Manifest leading man Josh Dallas becoming the breakout Netflix star of 2022, and we’re betting even bigger on Manifest season 4 being one of the most popular new releases of the year. Expect all of those records it broke before to be shattered once more.

And to think, all of this excitement can be traced back to fans who put passion into purpose. It’s hard to name one singular fandom the “best fans,” because to be loyal to anything is admirable. However, Manifesters really are picking up right where Lucifer’s Lucifans left off, and it’s going to make for another memorable sendoff for another memorable show.
