A new action thriller series with sci-fi elements called In from the Cold is coming to Netflix on Jan. 28, and it’s definitely a title you want to add to your watchlist.

The story is about an American single mom named Jenny, who is confronted by the CIA and exposed of being an ex-Russian spy while on vacation in Europe with her daughter. But Jenny is not your ordinary spy.

She got special abilities from her involvement in a highly classified KGB experiment. The CIA is aware of Jenny’s special abilities. They want her help cracking a case involving a mysterious person who has the same abilities and is killing innocent people. Jenny wants no parts, but she risks losing her family and the new life she built if she doesn’t help the CIA.

Based on the upcoming Netflix original series synopsis, we’re expecting this show to be action-packed with many fight scenes and chase scenes. But what is In from the Cold‘s age rating? Is the show suitable for kids? We share the action thriller’s age rating below.

In from the Cold age rating

In from the Cold is rated TV-MA, which means this series is for mature audiences only and might not be suitable for ages 17 and under. This isn’t surprising seeing as though the official trailer shows graphic violence, weapons, nudity, and blood and gore. There will also be strong coarse language, sexual content, and smoking in the show.

So when it’s time to watch In from the Cold, make sure there are no kids around. If you have young teenagers, we recommend they watch the action films Red Notice and The Ice Road. But if you have young kids, we suggest you turn on the Netflix original series Action Pack and Johnny Test.

Netflix has a large number of shows and movies on its platform, so while you binge-watch all eight episodes of In from the Cold, your kids should be occupied.

Make sure to check out In from the Cold when it makes its landing on Netflix on Jan. 28 at 12:00 a.m. PST/3:00 a.m. EST.
