Home Team synopsis

The upcoming movie is a loosely based story about former New Orleans Saints head coach Sean Payton’s experiences after he’s suspended from the NFL for his involvement in the New Orleans Saints bounty scandal. During his suspension, Payton decides to try a hand at coaching his son’s football team.

"Two years after a Super Bowl win when NFL head coach Sean Payton is suspended, he goes back to his hometown and finds himself reconnecting with his 12 year old son by coaching his Pop Warner football team."

Kevin James portrays Sean Payton, and Tait Blum plays Payton’s son. Also, it looks like Jackie Sandler will be playing Payton’s wife, Lautner as Payton’s assistant coach, and Isaiah Mustafa as a coach for an opposing team. It’s unclear who Schneider will be playing in the film, but based on the trailer, his character is definitely going to bring some laughter.
