The Shonda Rhimes-produced Bridgerton was a smash hit for Netflix at the tail end of 2020. The series is slated for at least a four-season run. It was announced during the TUDUM even that season 2 will premiere in 2022.

The period drama series, however, isn’t the only Shondaland production looking to make a splash on Netflix. Inventing Anna, the dramatized adaptation of real-life con-woman Anna Delvey, is set to take its bow soon with Rhimes picking up her pen to spin the tale.

The 10-episode drama inspired by Jessica Pressler’s New Yorker article, “How Anna Delvey Tricked New York’s Party People,” will take viewers into the monied world of the New York City social scene and the mind of a woman who took them for all they’re worth.

Inventing Anna is a limited series that delves into the lives of the rich and famous while also capitalizing on the kind of obsession that can bloom between a reporter and their subject. It’s a decadent drama with a side of intrigue.

Here’s what we know about the series and its impeding arrival on Netflix.

Inventing Anna release date
