Tinder is a popular dating app where some people meet their soulmates and ride off into the sunset. For others, it’s a complete nightmare. For the women involved in The Tinder Swindler documentary, their happy endings were cut short when they realized their so-called billionaire boyfriend was actually a conman who defrauded them out of hundreds of thousands of dollars. And the kicker is these women were all dating the same man. I mean, this could easily be a synopsis for a new Netflix movie. I’m just saying.

The Tinder Swindler focuses on Shimon Hayut, an Israeli conman who pretended to be the son of Israeli businessman Lev Leviev to lure women. Shimon went by Simon Leviev on Tinder and seduced women by buying them nice things and flying them on private jets just for him to later on swindle them out of large amounts of money. But what Shimon wasn’t expecting is for the women he did wrong to come together and exact revenge.

In the documentary, the women give detailed accounts of how they met Shimon, what led up to the ultimate betrayal, and how they set out to bring him down. So are you ready to watch this upcoming documentary? Well, here’s the official release date for The Tinder Swindler.

The Tinder Swindler release date

The true crime documentary will make its way to Netflix on Wednesday, Feb. 2, 2022. I think this is the perfect release date because Valentine’s Day will be right around the corner, and we don’t want anybody looking for love to fall into the same trap as the women in the documentary.

You can expect The Tinder Swindler to drop on Netflix at 12:01 a.m. Pacific Time, which is 3:01 a.m. Eastern Time on Feb. 2. This might be a late release, but I think you’ll be able to watch it and still get a goodnight’s sleep.
