Cobra Kai season 4 has been out for less than a week on Netflix, and it’s already putting up tremendous numbers!
The fourth season of Netflix’s hit series finally hit the streaming service on Dec. 31, 2021, and it did not disappoint as it quickly became one of the top viewed shows of the year.
According to Deadline, Cobra Kai has clocked in over 120 million hours watched since its release date not even a week ago, and it shows no signs of slowing down. These numbers shot Cobra Kai right up to number one on Netflix’s weekly top 10 list
Just to put it into perspective, The Witcher season 2 came in at 142 million hours watched in its first week. The Witcher is one of Netflix’s biggest shows to ever release and Cobra Kai is running right there with the fantasy drama.
Cobra Kai season 4 ratings
With a couple days to go to reach that full one week period, Cobra Kai has a chance to really make a run at The Witcher. Whether it reaches those numbers or not, The Karate Kid spinoff series has done an awesome job creating a fun, action-packed series that continues to deliver on all levels.
Cobra Kai has already been renewed for a fifth season, and that announcement came before season 4 was released which we rarely see happen. The YouTube original sure has come along way from being on the verge of cancellation, to Netflix swooping in and taking the series by the horns.
If you’ve already binged the entire fourth season of Cobra Kai like I have, then I know you’re looking forward to the fifth season as this past season left off with our mouths on the floor. But hey, it’s Cobra Kai so does anything really shock us anymore?
Cobra Kai season 4 is now streaming on Netflix!
