Virgin River season 4 is not coming to Netflix in January 2022

There’s good news for Virgin River fans who are looking forward to season 4’s release on Netflix. Although there’s still a bit more waiting to do before Virgin River season 4 hits our watch lists, the upcoming season of the fan-favorite has wrapped filming.

Unfortunately, that doesn’t mean that the fourth season will be coming to Netflix in January 2022, but it does mean that the next round of Virgin River drama will be here before we know it. And who isn’t desperate to learn the answers to THAT cliffhanger?

Following the stellar performance of Virgin River season 3 in July 2021, Netflix didn’t waste time in renewing the hit romantic drama for not one but two seasons. Virgin River season 4 and Virgin River season 5 are confirmed, and we’re hopeful there could be even more.

But when can fans expect Virgin River season 4 to premiere on Netflix? While filming wrapped before the holidays, the season wasn’t expected until 2022. Now that it’s 2022, the countdown is on to the official release date of the highly anticipated fourth season.

Virgin River season 4 release date updates

For now, Virgin River season 4 is estimated to arrive on Netflix in the first half of 2022, perhaps having another summer release. The earliest we could see Mel and Jack back on screen is spring 2022, but we’re looking at a probable June or July 2022 release date.

Of course, these are just predictions, and Netflix hasn’t announced anything official regarding the Virgin River season 4 release date. Being so, the date could shift in either direction, but again, we’re anticipating a spring or summer release for season 4.

As of this writing, filming for Virgin River season 5 hasn’t yet begun. Since the series seems to have a pretty rapid turnaround, we should be hearing some news about the cast and crew getting back to work on season 5 as we get further into 2022.
