Selling Tampa was released on Netflix on Dec. 15, 2021, and it instantly became many subscribers’ new favorite reality series. The Selling Tampa cast brought the drama this season, and I loved every second of it! Now curious minds wonder if there will be a Selling Tampa season 2. We share with you what we know about a potential second season below.

If you’re not already familiar with this hit Netflix original series (which you should), it follows the all-female, Black-owned Allure Realty in Tampa, Florida. Viewers get to see the successful realtors balance their personal and professional lives.

When the reality series dropped on Netflix, it didn’t take long for it to become a trending topic because of the drama-filled moments in the season. Now that most of us finished the first season, we’re ready to see more of this show. So will there be a Selling Tampa season 2?

How many seasons of Selling Tampa are there?

Currently, there is only one season of Selling Tampa, and it’s available to stream on Netflix.

Will there be a Selling Tampa season 2?

At the time of writing (Jan. 3), Netflix has not greenlit Selling Tampa for a second season. However, it is still relatively early in the process since the show just came out in December. Netflix typically waits a couple of months before renewing a series to see where the viewership numbers fall. And seeing as though Selling Tampa is a new show, the streamer might be hesitant to give the go-ahead for a second season so early.

As we mentioned earlier, the reality series has not been renewed for a second season, so there isn’t an official episode count. However, if there is to be a second season, we expect the new season to consist of eight episodes like the first season.

An official season 2 cast list has not been announced since the series hasn’t been renewed as of yet. However, we expect the majority of season 1’s cast to return in season 2. In addition, there are some cast members whose fate is up in the air due to events that occurred in season 1.

Selling Tampa season 2 synopsis

A potential second season will still follow the lives of the real estate agents at Allure Realty. Based on how things ended in season 1, there are some questions left unanswered. In season 1, Sharelle discovered she was pregnant, and the father of her unborn child is based in Miami. Will Sharelle relocate to Miami in season 2?

Alexis gets fired from Allure Realty due to her sales being down. Could she be rehired at the brokerage? Lastly, we see Rena sign the lease on her own brokerage. Will we see Allure Realty and Rena’s new brokerage go head to head?

Hopefully, Selling Tampa is renewed for a second season so that these questions can be answered.

When is Selling Tampa season 2 filming?

Production on season 2 has not started because the television series has not been renewed. If Netflix decides to renew the show for a second season, we expect filming to begin right away. We just need the renewal announcement.

Selling Tampa season 2 release date

Since the reality series has not been renewed, no official season 2 release date has been announced. We’ll need a little more information to determine when exactly we could see a second season on Netflix. However, if Netflix renews the show soon, we think there’s a good chance we could see season 2 sometime in 2022.
