For those that aren’t familiar, Swan Song is a well-crafted science-fiction drama written and directed by Academy Award winner Benjamin Cleary. The talented filmmaker won his Oscar for Best Live Action Short Film for his short film Stutterer at the 88th Academy awards.
Cleary’s full-length movie tells the story of a man named Cameron Turner, played by Ali, who is a father and husband with a terminal illness that attempts to spare his family the grief of losing him by having himself replaced with a clone. Also starring alongside Ali and Harris in Swan Song is Awkwafina and Glenn Close.
The motion picture has a solid score on Rotten Tomatoes, and Ali has earned himself a well-deserved nomination for Best Actor in a Motion Picture – Drama at the 79th Golden Globe Awards. Knowing this, it really isn’t shocking to see why Netflix subscribers would absolutely not be disappointed by what this worthy endeavor has to offer.

There is no denying that having Cleary’s thought-provoking sci-fi feature in Netflix’s lineup would be extremely ideal for subscribers that would like to see the intriguing story play out. But unfortunately, that isn’t possible because Swan Song is not available on the streaming service.
