When it comes to romantic comedies, Sandra Bullock is one of the many queens of the genre having starred in countless beloved romantic comedies over her decades-long career.

Among Bullock’s most notable romantic comedies is 2009’s breakout hit The Proposal, which saw her starring opposite Ryan Reynolds as a high-powered book editor who fakes an engagement to her assistant (Reynolds) in hopes of avoiding deportation to her native Canada. And who can forget Betty White’s scene-stealing turn as Grandma Annie, the eccentric grandma of Reynolds’ character Andrew?!

There’s never a bad time to enjoy the 2009 hit, but figuring out where to stream the film is always the first step with Netflix often emerging as folk’s first pitstop in their search, but is the film streaming on Netflix?

Is The Proposal on Netflix?

If you’re hoping to be able to watch The Proposal on Netflix, we have some bad news for you. While Netflix is home to many incredible romantic comedies including an ever-growing list of original rom-coms, you won’t find The Proposal among Netflix’s extensive catalog of films as the 2009 hit is not available to stream on Netflix at this time.

Although the film is not currently streaming on Netflix, it has streamed on Netflix in the past which means there is always a chance the film could return to Netflix again in the future should Netflix secure the streaming rights to the film once more.
