Do Sam and Robby get back together in Cobra Kai season 4?

While Cobra Kai is first and foremost about karate, it’s also about navigating relationships — both platonic and romantic. The series begins by following the ongoing rivalry between Daniel LaRusso (Ralph Macchio) and Johnny Lawrence (William Zabka), and it goes on to focus on the relationships between their kids, Sam (Mary Mouser) and Robby (Tanner Buchanan), as well as Johnny’s student, Miguel (Xolo Maridueña).

By Cobra Kai season 2, there’s a love triangle between Sam, Miguel, and Robby, which turns into a love square when Miguel starts dating Tory (Peyton List). To catch you up to speed, Sam dates Miguel in season 1, but they are torn apart by Daniel and Johnny’s feuding dojos. Sam then begins a relationship with Robby, who not only was mentored by Daniel but also happens to be Johnny’s estranged son.

Although Sam is dating Robby and Miguel is dating Tory in season 2, they can’t deny their feelings for one another and share a kiss towards the end of the season. Tory sees it happen, which only fuels her hatred for Sam leading into the big school fight in the season 2 finale.

In Cobra Kai season 3, Sam and Miguel get back together and are really happy again. But that might not be the case come the new season. Do Sam and Robby rekindle their romance in Cobra Kai season 4?

Do Sam and Robby end up together in Cobra Kai season 4?

Fortunately for Miguel, Sam and Robby do not get back together in Cobra Kai season 4. However, there’s definitely a slight chance it could happen. The tension between the couples is stronger than ever in the new episodes, and once Robby and Tory begin dating, things get even weirder.

When Robby and Tory show up at the junior prom as each other’s dates, it’s seriously awkward. Sam and Miguel can’t stop staring, which only provokes Robby and Tory to “put on a show” on the dance floor. Sam promises the night is just about her and Miguel, but at the prom after-party, she gets into a fight with Tory.

Miguel pulls Tory off Sam, and then Robby comes in and starts fighting Miguel. Sam tells Robby that he broke her heart, which is something Miguel isn’t happy to hear. Overall, it definitely isn’t the night Sam and Miguel are hoping for, and they get into a fight before deciding to go home.

While prom night definitely leaves a sour taste for Sam and Miguel, they continue dating. Sam doesn’t get back together with Robby, and instead, Robby keeps seeing Tory.
