They are met with skepticism, ignorance, and worse.

The Lost Daughter

The Lost Daughter stars Olivia Colman and Dakota Johnson and is directed by Maggie Gyllenhaal. It’s based on the book of the same name by Elena Ferrante.

The Lost Daughter was just released on Netflix on Dec. 31, 2021.

Death to 2021 is not for everyone. I’m probably not going to watch it, but if you’re into satire and want to think about what happened this year, this is probably the movie for you.

The Unforgivable

The Unforgivable remains one of the top movies of the year on Netflix. Sandra Bullock stars in the Netflix movie, which tells the story of a woman who is released from prison years after committing a violent crime and tries to put her life back together.

What a year 2021 was for Netflix shows. Things got off to a slow start in early 2021 because of the pandemic, but there were so many big shows released between July and the end of the year.
