Cobra Kai season 4
Fans of the Cobra Kai series will have a very happy new year as the fourth season hits Netflix on Dec. 31 (and season 5 is on the way, too).
Cobra Kai is a sequel to the ’80s Karate Kid films that takes place 34 years after the first film from 1984. Ralph Macchio and William Zabka reprise their roles as Daniel LaRusso and Johnny Lawrence. The series is told from Johnny’s POV as he reopens the Cobra Kai dojo, which rekindles the old rivalry with Daniel.
Bridgerton
Lady Whistledown has surprised viewers once again with a Bridgerton release date in March 2022. Fans have been longing for the release of the new season. This news is just what fans needed to hear to know that 2022 will bring great things.
While you wait, you can rewatch the fantastic first season to remind you of why you enjoy the series so much. This will also heighten your anticipation for the second season, where we will see Lord Anthony Bridgerton seek out an acceptable wife. He will meet his match with someone new to the ton, Kate Sharma.
Schitt’s Creek
The sitcom Schitt’s Creek was created by the father duo of Dan Levy and Eugene Levy. The series has 80 episodes over six seasons, and it’s a perfect binge that keeps you laughing.
The Levys play a father/son duo of the eccentric and one-time wealthy Rose family, Johnny and David. When their business manager embezzles their family fortune, they are forced to move to a motel in the small town of Schitt’s Creek, which they bought as a joke years earlier. Catherine O’Hara plays Moira, the matriarch of the family and Alexis, the daughter, is played by Annie Murphy.
Crime Scene: The Times Square Killer
The newest installment of Netflix’s true-crime series is Crime Scene: The Times Square Killer. This limited docu-series is the second installment of the Crime Scene documentary series. The first was The Vanishing at the Cecil Hotel.
The Times Square Killer tells the story of serial killer Richard Cottingham. He is responsible for numerous murders in the ’70s and ’80s and is also known as the Torso Killer. His nicknames came from the dismemberment and decapitation of two victims on Dec. 2, 1979, in a hotel in the vicinity of Times Square.
Cottingham claims to have killed 85-100 people but officially murdered 11 and is currently serving his sentences in New Jersey State Prison in Trenton, New Jersey.
30 Rock
30 Rock is an excellent series to binge, even if you have watched it before. The series originally aired on NBC from 2006 -2013 and consists of 139 episodes, plenty for a great binge!
The series takes place at 30 Rockafeller Center and is based on creator Tina Fey’s time as head writer for Saturday Night Live. This is a behind-the-scenes look at a fictional live sketch comedy show and all the antics of the crew and talent.
With an all-star cast consisting of Tracy Morgan, Jane Krakowski, Jack McBrayer, Scott Adsit, Judah Friedlander, Alec Baldwin, Katrina Bowden, Keith Powell, Lonny Ross, Kevin Brown, Grizz Chapman, Maulik Pancholy, and John Lutz, you know this one is worthy of a binge.
