Don’t Look Up

Want a disaster movie? Prefer a comedic disaster movie? Don’t Look Up is going to be the biggest of the Netflix shows and movies this week.

It stars Leonard DiCaprio and Jennifer Lawrence as two astronomers who realize that a comet is about to wipe out everyone on Earth. They need to do a media tour to warn everyone. This is sure to entertain while you wrap those last-minute Christmas gifts.

The Silent Sea Season 1

Squid Game was one of the biggest releases in 2021. Now South Korea is bringing us another fun series to check out. This one is a sci-fi series that will see a group of space explorers on a mission.

The entire season takes place over 24 hours. They’ll need to retrieve samples from an abandoned research facility that is full of classified secrets. Just what could possibly go wrong?

Jimmy Carr: His Dark Material

When it comes to comedy specials, Netflix has a lot. There are a couple arriving this week, but you’ll want to hold out for Jimmy Carr’s special. You know him as the host of 8 Out of 10 Cats, but he does some great stand-up specials as well.

This special will focus on some of Carr’s darkest jokes. After all, he finds humor in the darkest things. And he does admit that these could be career enders, so watch out! You’ve been warned!

Lulli

If you love medical dramas, you’ll want to wait until the very end of the week. The Brazilian series Lulli drops on Netflix.

It follows a brilliant medical student. She knows she’s brilliant, and that leads to her refusing to listen to others. She’s sure to learn that lesson along the way.
