You’s Chris O’Shea is headed to Riverdale season 6 to wreak havoc

Something wicked this way comes in Riverdale season 6, and we’re not talking about Cheryl’s magic which might continue to run amok despite the “Rivervale” event coming to a close in its 100th episode, “The Jughead Paradox.”

Other than showrunner Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa teasing that a permanent death is set to come in the rest of the season, not much is known about what fans should be expecting in the show’s sixth season after “Rivervale” finishes.

Madelaine Petsch did drop a hint that someone who appeared in “Rivervale” will still be involved in Cheryl’s storyline moving forward. We’ve placed our bets on Abigail, her ancestor who she swore she’d avenge even if it meant going up against Archie, Betty, and Jughead.

But, while Cheryl is first in line for doling out punishments, there’s a new arrival to Riverdale who’ll be wreaking his own havoc on the town with Pop’s and he’ll be played by You‘s Chris O’Shea.

Who does Chris O’Shea play in Riverdale season 6?

Fans of the Netflix original series know O’Shea as Andrew, a member of Sherry’s clique who loved a bit of gossip. In Riverdale, however, he’ll be playing a manipulative mover and shaker who’s set to get under the skin of many a Riverdale citizen including Archie.

As reported by Deadline, O’Shea has been cast as Percival Pickens. If the name sounds familiar that’s because he’s a descendant of General Pickens, one of Riverdale’s founding fathers.

In season 2 of the show, it was revealed that the general was hired by Cheryl’s ancestor, Barnabas B. Blossom, to remove the Uktena tribe from their lands which are now the Blossom maple groves and Sweetwater River.

Considering Percival’s ties to history that involves both Cheryl and Toni’s ancestral lines, it wouldn’t be surprising if he’s a part of their storylines in the rest of Riverdale season 6 as well. Percival intends on making Riverdale a utopia by any means necessary, and he’ll enact his agenda as charmingly and ruthlessly as he needs no matter the danger it might present.
