Will Ferrell stars in the film as Buddy the Elf, a human man living at the North Pole who believes he’s an elf. You see, he snuck into Santa’s bag at an orphanage on Christmas. Buddy doesn’t fit in, and so, he travels to New York City to find his father, played by James Caan, who never knew he had a son.

Mary Steenburgen, Zooey Deschanel, Edward Asner, Bob Newhart, and Daniel Tay star in the movie. Jon Favreau directed the film.

Is Elf on Netflix?

Elf was on Netflix in the past, and for a time, it was one of the most popular movies on Netflix. But, that was a way back in 2020.
