Gentefied season 2 cast: Who’s in the new season?

Gentefied returns to Netflix with new episodes on Nov. 10, and fans are ready to catch up with the Morales family’s latest exploits in love, life, and the pursuit of the American Dream. We can’t wait to see the cast back in action for Gentefied season 2.

The comedy-drama series, created by Marvin Lemus and Linda Yvette Chávez, first premiered in February 2020 and became an instant fan favorite. Gentefied also counts Ugly Betty and Superstore star America Ferrera as an executive producer and director.

Picking up where last season left off, Gentefied season 2 will continue to follow the ups and downs of the Morales cousins and their grandfather as they experience the ups and downs in their family business, personal lives, and everything in between.

As with any new season of a Netflix show, fans are probably wondering which cast members they can see back in season 2 and how many new characters will appear in the new season. Here’s everything you need to know about the Gentefied season 2 cast.

Gentefied season 2 cast

All of our favorite characters will be back in season 2 of Gentefied. Currently, the main cast of the series remains the core four Morales family members as follows:

• Joaquín Cosío as Casimiro “Pop” Morales
• J.J. Soria as Erik Morales
• Karrie Martin as Ana Morales
• Carlos Santos as Chris Morales

However, fans should also look forward to seeing more of Julissa Calderon as Ana’s girlfriend Yessika Castillo, Annie Gonzalez as Erik’s girlfriend Lidia Solis, Bianca Melgar as Nayeli Morales, Laura Patalano as Beatriz Morales, Rafael Sigler as Pancho Solis, Brenda Banda as Norma, and Al Patiño as Chuey.

The second season also introduces a handful of new characters that we will either love, hate to love, or love to hate, depending on who you are. Here are the new recurring cast members:

• Clarissa Thibeaux as Bree Solano
• Manuel Uriza as Ernesto Morales
• Ivana Rojas as Sarai Damian
• Melinna Bobadilla as Melinna Barragan

Perhaps one of the biggest new characters of note is Ernesto Morales, who’s the estranged oldest son of Pop. Ernesto left East LA in favorite of the Boise suburbs to follow his dreams. Also, Sarai Damian is a career-focused chef that could be a love interest to a certain Morales.
