Will there be a Narcos: Mexico season 4?

Narcos: Mexico season 3 was released on Netflix on Nov. 5, and fans of the crime drama series love the new season. While some might still be watching the hit Netflix original, others have finished the latest season and are searching for any news on Narcos: Mexico season 4.

As of Nov. 8, the crime drama television series is sitting at the No. 4 spot on Netflix top 10 list, and it doesn’t look like it’ll be leaving the list any time soon. This isn’t shocking because the Narcos franchise is pretty popular, and fans are always hoping for more.

Will there be a Narcos: Mexico season 4?

Unfortunately, there will not be a fourth season of Narcos: Mexico. When Netflix announced the third season renewal, it was also revealed that the third season would be the final season. This is not surprising at all since its parent series Narcos had a series run of three seasons. So there’s obviously some pattern going on.

However, with the show’s popularity, there could’ve easily been a fourth season. But I think the writers did a fantastic job at telling the complete story in three seasons. We’re truly going to miss this crime drama series.

You don’t have to feel sad about this news because I have some good news to tell you. We might not be getting a Narcos: Mexico season 4, but there will be a new limited series titled Griselda, from the same creative team that brought us Narcos coming to Netflix soon. Yes, we’re talking about the notorious drug queenpin, Griselda Blanco.

In this upcoming series, we will see the rise and fall of Griselda Blanco, also known as “The Black Widow.” Keep in mind that this series is not a spinoff of Narcos or Narcos: Mexico, so don’t expect to see some of your favorite drug lords from those series in this upcoming series.
