Will Phoebe Dynevor be in Bridgerton season 2?

Fans of the Netflix original series Bridgerton are longing for the day when the second season of the steamy Regency romance releases. The second installment of the series will focus on the eldest Bridgerton, Anthony (Jonathan Bailey), and his search for a bride. With a focus on the older brother, will Daphne (Phoebe Dynevor) also appear in Bridgerton season 2?

The series gets its source material from the titular family in the novels penned by Julia Quinn. There are eight Bridgerton siblings and as many books. Each book has a focus on a sibling and their love life. In the Regency period, when girls come of age, they can attend balls and parties with the sole objective of finding a suitable husband.

But, the gentlemen also need to secure suitable wives to care for the households and provide heirs to their fortunes and carry on their titles. And this is what season two will find Anthony.

Is Phoebe Dynevor in Bridgerton season 2?

The first season focused on the eldest daughter in the Bridgerton family, Daphne (Dynevor), and her marriage to the quite suitable Simon Basset (Regé-Jean Page), who is a Duke. Fans were saddened to hear the news the Page wouldn’t appear in Bridgerton season 2.

But, what about Daphne?

Have no fear, fans! Yes, the Dynevor will appear in the second season, but it is unclear how much of a storyline she will have.

The second season will focus on Anthony and his new love Kate Sharma, played by Simone Ashley. Kate is new to the way of Regency London and is quite headstrong. It shall be interesting to see her come up against Lord Anthony Bridgerton.

Some of the other new cast includes Charithra Chandran as Edwina Sharma, Rupert Young as Jack, Shelley Conn as Lady Mary Sharma, Calam Lynch as Theo Sharpe, and we will most likely see Rupert Evans as Edmund Bridgerton in flashbacks, as he is the Bridgerton patriarch who died at a young age.

The only release news has been that Bridgerton will be coming to Netflix in 2022. But at least we can quit hoping for a 2021 release and wait patiently for the 2022 release date.
