Nina Dobrev is dating professional snowboarder Shaun White. They’ve been together for over three years but reportedly are not yet engaged despite rumors suggesting otherwise. According to People, the pair have been dating since April 2020. Earlier this year, White told the outlet that he and Dobrev aren’t engaged (at least, not yet).

"“We’re just enjoying our time together right now. No pressure,” he said. “But I told her, I was like, ‘Look, after the Olympics, I finally got my freedom to do whatever. And let’s just have fun and be together and support each other.'”“But you never know. We’ll see what happens,” he added."

As mentioned above, Dobrev has been in some public relationships and flings in the past.

Pop Sugar previously reported she dated actor Ben Hollingsworth from 2006-2009. They never publically announced their relationship, but Ben was spotted at her 21st birthday party.

But her most notable public relationship to date came when she was starring in The Vampire Diaries and linked to her on-screen love interest Ian Somerhalder, who played Damon Salvatore on the show. The pair had a serious long-term relationship until they broke up in 2013.

Dobrev was later rumored to be dating Austin Stowell. They confirmed their relationship in October 2015 at the red carpet premiere of Stowell’s film Bridge of Spies and were together for about seven months.

In 2017, the Degrassi alum started dating Top Gun: Maverick star Glen Powell for a few months. After that, Dobrev was with screenwriter Grant Mellon for about one year before they split in November 2019, around the time she first met Shaun White in late 2019 at a Tony Robbins event, though they didn’t start dating until several months later.
