Netflix has a wide variety of documentaries that cover many topics. Next up, the streamer will be releasing a documentary titled Camp Confidential: America’s Secret Nazis.

No matter what your interests are, Netflix probably has a documentary on that topic. There are great music documentaries like The Show Must Go On, Gaga: Five Foot Two, Metallica Some Kind of Monster, and If I Leave Here Tomorrow.

The true crimes listing is extensive; check out I Am A Killer, The Ripper, and Forensic Files Collection. Many historical documentaries span a wide range of topics, including The Lost Pirate Kingdom, Secrets of Great British Castles, Pelé, Who Killed Malcolm X? and The Greatest Events of WWII in Colour.

On Nov. 2, Camp Confidential: America’s Secret Nazis will be the newest addition to the documentary catalog on Netflix.

Camp Confidential: America’s Secret Nazis synopsis

The upcoming Camp Confidential: America’s Secret Nazis is an animated investigative documentary short that has a runtime of 34 minutes. The story follows a group of Jewish refugees tasked with guarding a secret POW located near Washington DC.

They quickly learn that the POWs are some of Hitler’s top scientists that are being held to gather vital information. In a shocking twist, the Jewish soldiers will find their mission takes a different turn, making them question their moral values and exposing a dark secret in America’s history.

The short is directed by Daniel Sivan and Mor Loushy (The Devil Next Door, The Oslo Diaries) and produced by Benji and Jono Bergmann (Wirecard, Mau). The documentary has been nominated for a Critics Choice Documentary Award in the Best Short Documentary category.

This story is a very interesting take on an unknown subject. According to an article in The Washington Post, the interrogation center was called P.O. Box 1142. This story wasn’t made public for many years, and in 2007, a group of WWII veterans talked to The Washington Post about the top-secret work they did. This story is part of what inspired the Camp Confidential: America’s Secret Nazis documentary.

Camp Confidential: America’s Secret Nazis will be released on Netflix on Nov. 2.
