Maybe your Halloween vibe isn’t full of gore and horror. We can’t all appreciate the adrenaline rush of a jump scare. But if you’re into vampire romance, Twilight is the perfect counter-programming for those who like a bit of spice but prefer camp to full-blown horror.

As if anyone isn’t aware of the film saga based on the wildly popular young adult novels by Stephenie Meyer, Twilight stars Kristen Stewart as moody teen Bella Swan as she moves in with her estranged father in Forks, Washington. Soon, she finds herself in love with Edward Cullen (Robert Pattinson), a brooding vampire with sparkly skin and a taste for her blood.

The series also includes New Moon, Eclipse and Breaking Dawn Parts 1 and 2, which cover every up and down of Bella and Edward’s rocky romance and love triangle with werewolf Jacob (Taylor Lautner).

Over a decade after its release, Twilight and its four sequels have experienced a resurgence in popularity on Netflix (and TikTok, the true barometer of modern success), and there’s no better time than Halloween to revel in its slightly comedic, sometimes haunting cringe-worthy moments. Settle in for a Twilight movie marathon on Netflix this Halloween, Twi-hards!
