Who dies in Locke and Key season 2?

Locke and Key season 2 is definitely one of the best Netflix shows of 2021, but unfortunately, not all of our favorite characters make it out of Locke and Key season 2 alive.

In a show about murder, demons, magic keys, and more, we knew some characters were going to pay a price, but we didn’t know how it would all play out.

Below, we shared who died in the new season of the Netflix original series and which characters survive.

Who died in Locke and Key season 2?

There was a lot of death and destruction in Locke and Key season 2, which is now on Netflix. Luckily, most of our favorite characters do end up surviving the season but not all.

Gabe and Eden are on a tear in Locke and Key season 2. They kill several people in the beginning of the season, including but not limited to the guy who serves popcorn at the movie theater, a boat captain, and a guy who lives in the woods.

But, there are a few major casualties in the new season, starting with Erin, who is killed by Gabe with the help of Eden at the Winter Festival. Erin tried to use the Chain Key on Gabe, and it worked until Eden arrived. Gabe, then, uses the Thorn Key to dispose of Erin’s body.

The most crushing death of the season was obviously Jackie. After getting turned into a demon with the key that Duncan made for Gabe, Jackie and Tyler meet. Tyler, who has managed to make a key of his own, the Alpha Key, uses it to kill the demon and save Jackie. Unfortunately, it kills Jackie, as well.

The bodies continue to pile up in Locke and Key season 2. We also see Eden kill Javi in season 2, as well. Javi was the first person turned into a demon by Gabe.

In the final battle, all of the people turned into demons by Gabe die in the fight or when the house collapses into the ocean.

Oh, and we can’t forget all those people who died in the gunfight at the Locke House during the Revolutionary War.

Does Eden die in Locke and Key season 2?

It also looks like Eden died in the final scene of Locke and Key season 2. After letting Captain Frederick Gideon, an Echo, out of the Well at Keyhouse. Gideon throws Eden into the well. It looks like this might be the end of the line for Eden, too.

We’ll have to wait for confirmation, but I would be surprised to see Eden in Locke and Key season 3.

Does Dodge die in Locke and Key season 2?

Yes, it appears Dodge dies in Locke and Key season 2. During the final battle at the cliffside mansion, Tyler uses the Alpha Key on Dodge/Gabe, which effectively kills Dodge and saves Lucas.

Lucas climbs out of the rubble after Dodge dies.

It’s unclear what this means moving forward and if Dodge is really gone, but it does appear that, for now, Dodge is dead.

Who survives in Locke and Key season 2?

A lot of people! All of the Locke kids survive the events of season 2, along with Scot and the Savinis. Duncan and Nina also make it through the season alive, as well.

As mentioned, Lucas also appears to be alive and sort of well at the end of Locke and Key season 2.

And, most importantly, Ellie, who was thrown beyond the black door in the season 1 finale, is also alive. After the door was last open in the penultimate episode of the season, Ellie climbed back out looking like Dodge.

For the time being, Ellie seems fine, but we have so many questions? Where did she go? Is she okay? How is she alive?

There’s more going on here than meets the eye in the new season of one of the best Netflix shows; that’s for sure!
