Netflix has released the full list of every show and movie leaving the streamer in November 2021, and sadly, Glee is a part of the list. It’s going to be a sad day when Glee leaves Netflix in November because we’ll no longer get to watch the New Directions singing and dancing to various music.

If you’re not familiar with the ICONIC musical series that is Glee, we’ll give you a little rundown of what the show is about. The series follows a group of determined, misfit teenagers who are a part of a glee club at the fictional William McKinley High School. The name of the glee club is the New Directions, and throughout the teen series, they compete as a show choir in competitions.

Of course, the high schoolers are faced with many complex issues in the series that most teenagers face regarding race, sexuality, and family. One character even faces teen pregnancy. But overall, Glee does a good job of handling these complex issues.

What fans love most about this teen series is that the characters are unconventional. Every character is different, which makes them relatable. In addition, every audience member can see themselves in one of the characters. This show really makes sure that people from all walks of life are represented, and it’s one of the main reasons this series is so popular.

The musical comedy-drama series is hilariously funny, and we hate to see this TV show go. But unfortunately, it looks like we have no choice. Seasons 1-6 will be leaving Netflix in November 2021, whether we want it to or not.

When is Glee leaving Netflix?

According to Entertainment Weekly, seasons 1-6 of the musical series will be leaving Netflix on Tuesday, Nov. 30, 2021. This means that the last day to watch all six seasons is Nov. 29.

I don’t know about you, but I often go back and rewatch all six seasons on Netflix. To know that I won’t have that luxury anymore is very upsetting. So, watch the television series as much as you can before it makes its departure from Netflix on Nov. 30.

Where to stream Glee

You might not be able to watch the teen series anymore on Netflix starting on Nov. 30, but all the seasons will still be available to stream on Amazon Prime with a subscription. If you want to hear the New Directions belt out  “Don’t Stop Believing” over and over again, head on over to Amazon Prime after Glee leaves Netflix.

Even though this musical series will be leaving Netflix soon, there is still other musical content that will remain on Netflix until further notice. A Week AwayJulie and the Phantoms and The Prom are all excellent alternatives.
