Maid season 2 is not coming to Netflix in October 2021

Maid is a Netflix original series that has quickly risen in popularity for its one-of-a-kind synopsis as well as for its dynamic characters that have done nothing but intrigue us since the very first episode.

We’re certainly not the only ones blown away by this unique series as celebrities and critics everywhere have given nothing but praise for the series. Currently standing at a near-perfect critic score of 97% on Rotten Tomatoes, Maid is a force to be reckoned with amongst all those who watch it.

Because of such positive acclaim, fans of the Netflix original series have been waiting patiently for another season. It seems that they are going to have to wait a tad bit longer because Maid season 2 is not coming to Netflix in October 2021 and may, unfortunately, never come at all.

Will there be a season 2 of Maid?

As of right now, Netflix has not announced any plans to renew Maid for a second season and most likely never will. This decision could be due to the fact that the show was originally ordered as a limited series and has most likely tied up any loose ends of its riveting story. An additional season would, possibly, only be redundant.

Even still, there is always a chance that Netflix will give this spectacular series a season 2 especially considering the fact that all the reviews have been nothing but positive.

Maid season 2 release date predictions

Should the original series receive a renewal, It wouldn’t be too outrageous of a prediction to guess that Maid season 2 would debut on Netflix sometime in the late summer of 2022 or the early fall of next year being that season 1 premiered around the same time this year.

Of course, being that this is only a prediction, there is a chance that our guesses could be a few months too early or too late, so we’ll be on the lookout for any official announcements to let you know everything there is to know.
